How does it work?
Depending on the Client’s skin color, our laser hair removal machine uses a laser light energy with a specific wavelength (for the specific skin color). During the treatment, the machine emits a laser beam that is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle. Different color has different ability to absorb light wave, after absorption, the laser energy will be converted into heat energy. Hair follicles and surrounding stem cells lose their activity and fall off, thus, reach hair removal effect.
Our laser hair removal machine has 3 wavelengths which makes it suitable for all skin types, the Alexandrite 755nm for light skin, the Diode 808nm for all skin types (including very fair skin and olive or African-American skin) and the Nd: Yag 1064 for dark skin.
Laser technology is much more effective than IPL. Clients report substantial result of greater than 80% with less session of 4 to 8 treatments compared to IPL which takes about 6 sessions or more to get rid of 70% of hair permanently. Nevertheless, IPL machines do have an important place in the treatment of skin.
